From Zero to CEO: Building a Path to Global Success

One thing that stood out to me from the book Zero to One is the idea of starting in a small market and monopolizing it.

Many entrepreneurs begin their journy believing they can change the world, yet most businesses fail withing the first three years. They adjust their strategy, aim for a more general approach, seek further investment, and survive as long as they can. Only a small percentage of businesses have the chance to grow to a point where they can make an impact on a global scale, as seen with visionaries like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk.

I was curious about how Zero to One explains going from zero to one. At first, I had no clue. I imagined the book might talk about thinking big, creating a grand business blueprint, and acting as if you already own the market. But then I came across a key passage that reminded me of something my dad recently said to me: "You're already ready to start anythihng. Why wait until you feel fully prepared? That will never happen. If you hold off, you're using less than half you potential."

I didn't fully grasp his point at first. He knows how I used to downplay my capabilities, staying humble and not putting myself out there. Although I've worked hard to overcome this, some of it still lingers. But I've come a long way, and my dad's words, like the message in this book, have given me more courage and confidence.

The bookd reiterates what my dad said-monopolize a small market and grow from there. Now that I've made a mark in my niche, it's time to scale up my business, personal brand, and self.

Here's what Zero to One emphasizes:

  • Start small and aim for exclusivity.
  • Begin in a niche, even if it seems to small.
  • Why? Because controlling a small market is much easier than a large one.
  • Once you dominate that niche, expand gradually into related markets.
  • That's how you monopolize rather than compete.

This doesn't apply only to business-it's true in any career or personal endeavor. We all need to stand out and show the world who we are.

People often tell me, "You've got great energy! How are you alwaysso positive and full of life?" My nickname, Energy_no.1, reflects that. It's not that I'm happy and energetic every day, but others see the energy I cultivate within. I make sure to take "me-time" to recharge and refuel.

Since I first dreamt of becoming a CEO, I've been steadily walking that path. Those who know me well understand how much effort I've poured into this journey. Joining one of the world's largest companies was my first big step-a significant milestone toward my ultimate goal.

Some might say starting a business is the only way to become a CEO. But for me, the path I've drawn involves growing within a global organization. I want to lead a company that improves the world, so my passion for business lasts a lifetime. My energy fuels this journey, and my personal brand-Energy_nol.1-reflects my success so far.

Moreover, this philosophy has shaped my consulting approach. I understand our strengths and the niche markets we can excel in. If a business owner shares my vision and is willing to walk this path with me, we'll move forward quickly. Our success story has already begun.
